So, I'm a citizen, what I'm supposed to do?

You received your citizenship confirmation, now you are an official New Thrace citizen and here are a few things you may want to do:

• Join our brand new IRC channel at Rizon, #Thrace by using this link http://mibbit.com/?channel=%23Thrace&server=irc://irc.sxci.net where you can chat with our present members and play trivia if you want :)
• Attend to the upcoming events;
• Start your reenacting group, to do this you need to send an email to sthanheykel@yahoo.co.uk (this is our official email), with your group's name, members and location;
• Create a blogger account(if you don't have one), then email us with you username if you want to post on the national blog;
• Join our national forum (under construction), to enjoy the discussions about Thracian people and its culture, language and mythology.

More features coming soon, we plan to start up a facebook group, a flag and a coat of arms until the next week (12/02/2012). If you have suggestions, please comment.

Citizenship

To be a New Thracian and join the official events that are upcoming, you need to send a email to sthanheykel@yahoo.co.uk with these informations:

• Your Thracian name(see later) or your real name
• Your age
• Your location in world

A Thracian name is based on the ancient names, you may choose from this list: http://www.kroraina.com/thrac_lang/thrac_4b.html or by another source(send the link on the email), it's suggested that all citizens choose a Thracian name, to make our identity stronger and feel like we all are Thracians, regardless of our macronation origin. However, it's a optional feature, if you don't want to choose one, just send me your first real name.

The others informations are only for statistics purpose, we later will discuss how you can achieve some status and political positions on our constitution based by the numbers that statistics will give to us.

After sending the email, be a little patient, we will always try to answer you quickly.

An IRC channel is being created at moment, by now you can join #Thrace at Rizon and chat with our present citizens.

Declaration

New Thrace is a sovereign nation, whose primary objective is to preserve the Thracian enigmatic culture by living and sharing informations concerning all points of the ancient Thrace, every people who feels attached by Thracian culture is invited to become a citizen of New Thrace, we will accept everyone regardless heritage, religion, ethnicity, sexual option, you just need to be a Thracian enthusiast.

We won't use force to get known by the world as a sovereign nation and we do not have desire to claim a land as ours yet(we are realist,we may get a land in a future, when we are organized and numerous). We intend to share informations between citizens, organize reenactment events, festivities, try to revive Thracian religion and for the most "hardcore" to live as much we can as the old Thracian people.

This blog will be the national bulletin, where we may post the most important news, concerning politics, events and sometimes news about findings on Thracian culture.More informations concerning how to get a citizenship and what to do in our community will be posted soon.
